Holly (Lane) Mixon is a mixed media artist currently focusing on portraits and figure drawings.
She uses India ink wash layers to create fields of tone and charcoal lines to drape over around and through the figure. Her use of line is inspired by Egon Shiele.
She was born in St. Louis, MO and has been living in Philadelphia, PA since 2003.
In 2000 she received a BFA in Painting from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS.
